Weekly Forecast Dec. 29, 2025 - Jan. 4, 2026
On Monday, the Sun, Venus, and Mars are all in diligent Capricorn, Mercury is the last holdout in optimistic Sagittarius, retrograde Jupiter remains in Cancer, and Saturn continues to be in Pisces. The Moon is in Aries for much of the day, so the T-square that formed last weekend continues into today. As a result, themes of leadership and the intersection between individuality and systems remain top of mind. The Moon moves into Taurus tonight, bringing a bit of closure to that topic as we end the day.
On Tuesday, the Moon is in Taurus all day, so the earth energy is strengthened. The Moon exalts in the sign of Taurus, so things may feel easier to accept or understand emotionally during this transit. With the Sun, Venus, Mars all in Capricorn, you may feel some inner turmoil regarding rest, as Taurus and Capricorn approach this differently. Try to think of rest as preparing for your future success - otherwise you run the risk of losing sight of what you’re trying to achieve.
Wednesday sees no major planetary changes from Tuesday, so the energy will feel similar, though potentially a bit more restless with the influence of Mercury in Sagittarius on this Mercury-ruled day. Take this last day of the calendar year to rest and pamper yourself in preparation for the work to come. Later in the day, the Moon moves into Gemini, adding a refreshing gust of air energy to the mix, although potentially strengthening feelings of restlessness.
The Moon is in Gemini all day on Thursday, opposing Mercury in Sagittarius by sign on its last day before entering Capricorn. This may result in difficulties expressing your true feelings, as your emotional self and thinking will be out of sync with each other. Don’t fret - these difficulties will be short-lived.
On Friday, Mercury enters Capricorn to join the Sun, Venus, and Mars, officially setting the tone firmly in Capricorn energy. With all of these planets opposing the retrograde Jupiter in Cancer, growth may feel even slower than it already has with Jupiter stationed retrograde. Use this time to lay the appropriate groundwork in anticipation for rapid acceleration when Jupiter stations direct again on March 11.
The Moon is in Cancer on Saturday, joining retrograde Jupiter and entering the Capricorn-Cancer axial opposition picture. This puts even more pressure on this axis, positioning emotions and expansion across from self-concept, thoughts, desires, and motivation. While our emotional selves may crave an effortless ascent, our sense of self hinges on needing to have earned success through tribulation. Try to find a middle ground between these extremes.
On Sunday, there is no major planetary change from Saturday, so the tension of so many planets being involved in the Capricorn-Cancer opposition continues. Realize that hard work may not always yield the results you expect, but the right opportunities are continuously on their way to you in the right timing, so long as you are intentional about creating an environment that supports your success.
