Weekly Forecast Jan. 19 - 25, 2026
On Monday, the Sun, Mercury, and Mars remain in Capricorn, the Moon and Venus are in Aquarius, retrograde Jupiter is in Cancer, and Saturn is in Pisces. As Capricorn season comes to a close, we are gradually shifting from a time of putting your head down and giving 110% effort to questioning systems and thinking about what rules are better off broken. Both Capricorn and Aquarius are ruled by Saturn, so the energy is still slow-moving, serious, and reserved, but we are seeing glimmers of revolutionary thinking that will continue to build this week.
Tuesday does not see any major planetary shifts compared to Monday. However, as it is the final day of Capricorn season, it is a good day to take some time to reflect on this past month of the Sun transiting through the sign of Capricorn. Make note of the goals you have formed during this time as well as the actionable steps needed to achieve them. This will help you to stay on track and be consistent even as the celestial weather changes.
On Wednesday, the Sun and Mercury enter Aquarius to join Venus and the Moon transitions into Pisces to join Saturn. With these changes, your sense of self and mindset align with your desire, making you feel ready to embody your most idiosyncratic and weird self. You may struggle with insecurity and loneliness at times due to feeling that you are different and apart from others in this time, but remember that this affects the collective, so you are not alone in feeling this way even if others do not talk about it. Additionally, your emotions come back into alignment with struggles and setbacks, which could create either a deeper emotional understanding of your difficulties or worsen them by adding volatile feelings to already challenging situations. The outcome depends on if you can embrace and channel the whimsical and otherworldly Pisces energy effectively or if you choose to deny it instead.
Thursday does not see much change from Wednesday. However, something interesting to note as we begin Aquarius season is that, as more of the inner planets enter Aquarius, they are also joined by the slowest-moving planet, Pluto. The three outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) are better indicators of larger-scale issues affecting whole cities, countries, or the entire world, which is why for these more individually-focused forecasts, I seldom mention them. In this case, though, I feel it is pertinent because, as the state of global current events bends more and more noticeably towards revolutionary thinking and breaking systems, the alignment of smaller-scale planets with the largest-scale planet feels of particular significance. Expect this Aquarius season to bring more of this type of energy, and for these events to start to feel more and more personal to you. As a collective, we will start to see momentum shifting towards the good of the many rather than that of the few. This month may also feel chaotic and stressful, so be sure to take care of yourself as well. Rest and self-care are radical acts too, as burn-out and disconnection from noble causes serve as tools for oppressive regimes to snuff out positive change. If you are not sure how you can help, start with small actions that build your social network into a true community - offer help carrying groceries to elderly neighbors, teach valuable skills such as cooking or woodworking to your friends, and attend local government meetings to make your voice heard on a small but meaningful scale. This is a time for your actions to finally align with your ideals - dare to meet this challenge.
Friday is, again, not so different from the previous two days, though, later on, the Moon enters Aquarius, forming a square aspect with Mars, the ruling planet of Aries. This brings a more intense and confrontation energy to the day. You may feel called to speak up about issues you would otherwise let go of, and others may act more aggressively towards you in turn. Try to find a productive balance between speaking your mind and safeguarding your energy and attention for the truly meaningful issues. The key phrase of today is: choose your battles wisely.
On Saturday, Mars enters Aquarius, joining the Sun, Mercury, and Venus. This brings your motivation and aggression into alignment with your self-concept, mindset, and desires in the realm of humanitarianism and idiosyncrasy. With the Moon still in Aries, aggressive energy may still be in the air, however with Mars now forming a sextile aspect with the Moon rather than the tense and aggressive square aspect from yesterday, you may instead feel more motivated and less tense.
Sunday is planetarily similar to Saturday for much of the day. In the earlier part, you will continue to feel motivated and energized - use this to get things done, especially things which set the stage for domino effects to take hold and steer you towards desirable outcomes. Later on, the Moon enters the sign of its exaltation - Taurus. This calms things down and brings a slower and more relaxed emotional tone. As we wind down the weekend, take this opportunity to take care of yourself and refill your cup in preparation for the week ahead.
