Weekly Forecast Feb. 23 - Mar. 1, 2026
On Monday, the Sun, Mercury, and Venus are in Pisces, the Moon is in Taurus, Mars is in Aquarius, retrograde Jupiter is in Cancer, and Saturn is in Aries. The three planets in Pisces form a sextile aspect with the Moon in Taurus, which is harmonious and will increase the dreamy and restful mood of the day. The Sun, Mercury, and Venus also form a trine aspect with retrograde Jupiter in Cancer, which supports fruitful engagement with the nostalgic energy of retrograde Jupiter for a boost of luck. The Moon is also sextile with retrograde Jupiter, which boosts the supportive and harmonious energy between these five planets. On the other hand, Mars is sextile with Saturn, as well as forming a mutual reception, so your motivation is supercharged with vision and both of these malefic planets are made less harsh by the harmonious formation between them. Retrograde Jupiter is also forming a square aspect with Saturn, which paints a picture of two tense factions: the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter in one camp and Mars and Saturn in the other. While these camps are not directly at odds, there is a building tension between the urges to execute and to rest. For now, the restful camp is winning out both due to sheer numbers as well as the web of aspects between all planets forming a stronger support network for this camp today.
On Tuesday, the Moon enters Gemini, which shifts the energy greatly from the status quo of Monday. Now, the Moon is square to the three planets in Pisces, trine with Mars, and sextile with Saturn. Now, Mars and Saturn’s camp has the Moon on its side and the other contingent is without the Moon’s added sextile aspects to lend extra support. Today, the celestial weather supports more action towards your goals rather than the strong focus on dreaming and imagining from yesterday. A good way to channel this is to determine what the potential first steps are toward the dreamland you spent time creating on Sunday and Monday. What can you do right now to set you off on that path? Especially with today being a Mars-ruled day, it is best to strike while the iron is hot, even if the steps taken are small.
On Wednesday, the planets are in the same configurations and aspects as yesterday. Therefore, continue to work towards making your dreams one step closer to being reality. Another worthwhile consideration - even while we are focused on the Moon-Mars-Saturn contingent, the watery Pisces and Cancer energies of the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and retrograde Jupiter are still present. Thus, it may be advantageous to leverage one to support the other. In other words, how can you use the dreamy, imaginative, and sometimes a bit delusional water energies that are present to support your physical and tangible efforts towards your goals? For example, maybe you could apply to your dream job or program, even if you are not confident in your qualifications. Sometimes, all it takes is the courage to put yourself out there and the unwavering belief in yourself. Even if this effort doesn’t result in an acceptance, it goes a long way to show yourself that you are capable of moving the needle.
On Thursday, Mercury stations retrograde. While Mercury is already weakened in its detriment of Pisces, it is even weaker when retrograde. Thinking and communication may feel sluggish and difficult, with random obstacles popping up, seemingly out of nowhere. Old topics may resurface unexpectedly, which is typically an indication that there is more to settle than you initially thought. As always, Mercury retrograde periods are not ideal for travel, business deals, and major life decisions - if you can postpone these until at least March 21st, it may be worthwhile. However, Mercury retrograde doesn’t mean to put your whole life completely on hold, and sometimes these major events can’t be avoided during these times. If you are in this situation, don’t panic. Simply plan ahead and budget the necessary resources (time, money, patience, etc.) to deal with any last-minute problems that arise.
On Friday, the Moon is in Cancer, joining retrograde Jupiter, forming a trine aspect with the Sun, retrograde Mercury, and Venus in Pisces, and a square aspect with Saturn in Aries. The Moon is also in its domicile sign, making it well-equipped for maximum emotional output, for better or for worse. Prepare for an introspective and emotional day and be sure to get your cozy socks and blankets ready in case you should need them.
On Saturday, the Moon enters Leo, adding a glamorous and outgoing energy into the mix. The Moon is now forming a trine with Saturn in Aries and opposition with Mars in Aquarius. The opposition is a challenging formation in that it explicitly calls for balance and moderation; in this case, balance between hedonism and asceticism. At the core, both of these impulses center the ego to an unhealthy degree, and this aspect asks us to notice how the existence of these opposing urges can actually help us to find the happy medium between them. With sextile aspects both planets are making with Saturn and the mutual reception between Mars and Saturn, we are able to make good use of discipline and structure to achieve this goal of balance.
On Sunday, the energy is similar to Saturday. We continue to push toward balancing the ego’s desires in pursuit of something greater and more fulfilling. Another way to convey this energy would be to think of it in terms of proving nay-sayers wrong. What narratives have you been told about yourself that you are being challenged to disprove? Perhaps negative traits assigned to you as a child are not actually true of you, and you must shed attachments to this story to move forward. Maybe past experiences have caused you to shun parts of yourself that you used to enjoy, leading to feelings of emptiness. Today is the day to acknowledge this and confront it head-on, kicking off the process of healing the wounds you carry from being underestimated.
