Weekly Forecast Mar. 2 - Mar. 8, 2026

On Monday, the Sun, Mercury, and Venus are in Pisces, the Moon is in Leo to start the day before moving into Virgo, Mars is in Aquarius to start the day before moving into Pisces, retrograde Jupiter is in Cancer, and Saturn is in Aries. There is lots of mutable energy today, especially as the Moon and Mars shift part-way through to Virgo and Pisces respectively, with a bit of cardinal energy from the outer planets. This is a good day to embrace the mutable charge of tying up loose ends and finishing projects in order to make space for the new ideas soon to come.

On Tuesday, there is a Full Moon in Virgo which is also an astrological Lunar Eclipse. This creates a lot of strong energy which is looking for direction. With Mars newly in Pisces, a good way to take full advantage of the strong powers of manifestation of this transit and the Eclipse energy is to daydream and fantasize. Lean into what may usually feel delusionally optimistic, as this is the format in which Mars in Pisces does its best work. Imagine in detail what your ideal life looks like. What would it feel like to be living that in this very moment? How would your ideal self respond to the situations you are facing now? Practice pretending to be this person, even if your logical mind protests.

On Wednesday, expect communication difficulties. With it being a Mercury-ruled day and Mercury currently stationed retrograde and in its detriment sign of Pisces, there is a lot of focus and pressure on a weakened planet of thoughts and communication. Especially after such a heady day yesterday due to the Eclipse energy, you may feel tired and mentally sluggish, contributing to the communication difficulties. Try not to get too bogged down in details today, as this will only slow you down and you will have to go over it again later anyway. Communicating via metaphors, art, or music may also be helpful workarounds on this challenging day.

On Thursday, the Moon enters Libra, bringing a diplomatic energy and strengthening the cardinal modality. This shift forms a square aspect between the Moon and retrograde Jupiter, as well as an opposition with Saturn. Given the overwhelming amount of Pisces energy, which is notoriously ambiguous and changeable, the tension between planets in cardinal signs can provide a bit of needed structure to effectively hold and guide the Pisces energy. Creativity thrives in restriction. Try to imagine how the tension and difficulties you are facing may actually help propel you in the direction you need to go.

On Friday, the planets are in similar positions as the previous day, so you will still benefit from reflecting on how you can use the restrictions you are currently facing to your advantage. Additionally, this is the last Venus-ruled day of Venus’ transit through its exaltation of Pisces this year, so enjoy the ethereal and romantic energy of this transit today as Venus in Pisces gives her last hurrah of 2026.

On Saturday, Venus enters Aries. This makes our desires more aggressive and ambitious. Lean into this energy by embracing a beginner’s mindset and just trying things, even if you may look silly at first. The Moon also moves into Scorpio part-way through the day, forming a grand water trine with retrograde Jupiter in Cancer and the Sun, Mercury, and Mars in Pisces.

On Sunday, the grand water trine becomes more exact, leading to emotional reckonings. For many, this will be a particularly major release, since this is taking place just a few days prior to Jupiter finally stationing direct again. Try to reflect on the lessons learned during the many grand water trines that have been occurring recently, especially around the themes of nostalgia and moving forward through looking back. You may want to journal about your reflections so that you may look back on it later.
