Weekly Forecast Feb. 2 - Feb. 8, 2026
On Monday, the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars are all in Aquarius, the Moon is in Leo, retrograde Jupiter is in Cancer, and Saturn is in Pisces. In the aftermath of the Full Moon last night, we are continuing to reflect on self-esteem, confidence, and individuality. How have you grown and changed in these areas? What habits or practices are needed to maintain your progress and continue along your desired growth path?
On Tuesday, the Moon enters Virgo, opposing Saturn in Pisces and forming a sextile with retrograde Jupiter in Cancer, both by sign. The opposition with Saturn highlights the interplay between emotions and obstacles, as well as the axis between attention to detail versus head-in-the-clouds imagination. How have you hyper-focused on your emotions as a way to avoid confronting tangible setbacks which could be corrected? The sextile with retrograde Jupiter allows the Moon to support the weakened Jupiter by lending data and analysis to help it along while it is hard to go with the flow, as it typically would.
Wednesday is similar astrologically to Tuesday, though the sextile becomes exact by degree today, allowing for a small boost in growth and productivity if you are willing to work hard to overcome sluggishness and lack of inspiration. A good way to use this energy is to refine old work, such as editing old projects, sorting and organizing your space to make it more efficient, or purging unnecessary items or distractions. The opposition between the Moon and Saturn is applying (i.e., becoming more exact by degree) today, so you may also feel that tension steadily growing.
On Thursday, the opposition between the Moon in Virgo and Saturn in Pisces becomes exact, bringing the questions that began to surface on Tuesday to a head. Soon after, the Moon transitions into Libra, which now forms a trine with the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars in Aquarius by sign. This lends the support of a social and diplomatic mood to aid with the strong humanitarian focus of the moment. The Moon is also now forming a square with the retrograde Jupiter in Cancer by sign, leading to some emotional tension about slow progress and being forced to look back when you want to be looking forward instead. However, sometimes the best ideas are not original, but ones repurposed from the past and reimagined for today.
On Friday, the Moon’s square with retrograde Jupiter becomes exact. Try to channel this energy by looking back at history or your own past with an eye for similarities to current circumstances. What appears obvious to you now, with hindsight? How can you apply those lessons into current situations, even if it feels strange or uncomfortable? With the strong influence of Aquarius energy co-present, there is a strong likelihood of success when solving problems using a deconstructive method. Try to see situations not as a whole that must be dealt with as-is, but rather as a collection of parts that can be rearranged, broken, or repurposed for new goals.
On Saturday, Mercury enters its detriment of Pisces, turning your thoughts toward more esoteric concepts that are difficult to convey - expect difficulties with communication, especially confusion and delays. Mercury is also joining Saturn in Pisces, increasing the level of struggle due to the influence of Saturn’s stern mode of operations clashing with the dreamy, imaginative, and playful energy of Pisces. Today is also ruled by Saturn, so expect some obstacles as Saturn is navigating uncomfortable territory alongside an even more uncomfortable Mercury. Try not to put too much external pressure on the day if possible, as the internal pressure is likely to be high already.
On Sunday, the Moon enters Scorpio, forming a grand trine by sign with retrograde Jupiter in Cancer and Mercury and Saturn in Pisces. This, again, brings similar themes to the grand water trines that have popped up periodically in the past several months - emotions, slowed growth, and setbacks. However, it is also taking on a new element with Mercury joining the mix, bringing communication and thinking into the equation alongside the other themes. Today asks, how has your mindset contributed to shame and led to delays in abundance? How can the positive positioning of the planets today inspire you to view things differently and perhaps begin to release shaming beliefs in order to prepare you for the things you are aiming for? The Moon in Scorpio is also forming a square with the Sun, Venus, and Mars, which leads to tension between emotional scars wanting to keep you suspicious and hope for a better future necessitating trust and connection.
