With the Moon in Leo on this Moon-ruled day, your needs for attention and glamor may also be highlighted today in particular. The opposition between the four planets in Capricorn and retrograde Jupiter in Cancer is still a point of focus today and throughout this Capricorn season.
On Tuesday, there are no major planetary changes compared to Monday. However, on this Mars-ruled day, transiting Mars in Capricorn takes center stage and dials up the hardworking mood. It is a great day to put your head down and work - just be mindful to stay fed and hydrated as you may get so absorbed in work that you neglect your basic needs.
On Wednesday, the Moon is in Virgo, adding yet more earth energy to an already earth-heavy time and opposing Saturn in Pisces by sign. Practical matters will continue to take up the majority of your focus today, though more esoteric obstacles may begin to bubble up and get in the way when you least expect it.
On Thursday, the opposition between the Moon in Virgo and Saturn in Pisces becomes exact by degree, so things which may have been long repressed in order to continue with “business as usual” come back to haunt you and refuse to be ignored. There is also, of course, still the opposition by sign of retrograde Jupiter in Cancer with the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars in Capricorn, which is also somewhat highlighted on this Jupiter-ruled day. Overall, with two major oppositions along earth-water axes being in focus today, there is a lot of tension, especially internally. While the earth polarity seeks to keep pushing to achieve more without regard to the cost, the water polarity reminds us that we cannot pour from empty cups. And while the water polarity wants to bask in imagination and emotion endlessly, the earth polarity reminds us that the world will move on with or without us. The major lesson in these two oppositions is to find the balance between these two approaches and build infrastructure in our lives to support us in our natural areas of weakness so that this balance can be sustained.
On Friday, the Moon enters Libra, alleviating the tension involving Saturn and allowing old wounds to resettle. However, with this shift, the Moon is now forming a T-square by sign with retrograde Jupiter in Cancer and the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars in Capricorn. Two weeks ago, we saw a similar T-square formation when the Moon was in Aries, which prompted us to consider ourselves as individuals within the systems we are a part of. In this iteration with the Moon in Libra, however, we take a different perspective. Now, we are urged to consider how our actions within the family, work, and local systems we are a part of impact others. How do our actions help the collective, and how do they hurt it?
On Saturday, the T-square formation that began yesterday continues. The ruling planet of Capricorn, Saturn, rejoices in the sign of Libra, and the ruling planet of today is also Saturn, so there is some more pull towards that side of the equation today. Therefore, you must focus on duty, responsibility, and reliability, especially socially with the influence of Libra. However, you must also not lose sight of the importance of nurturing, caring, and sensitivity. These attributes can complement your ability to perform social duties successfully, rather than undermine it.
On Sunday, the Moon begins in Libra, allowing us a few more hours to sort out the lessons of the T-square of the past couple of days. Subsequently, the Moon moves on into Scorpio, making you feel more moody, introspective, and secretive. You will want to play your cards close to your chest today. It may also be a day of heightened emotions, as we find ourselves in yet another grand water trine by sign with the Moon in Scorpio, retrograde Jupiter in Cancer, and Saturn in Pisces, though this formation will intensify going into next week.
